My new quilting fabric collection has just dropped. Inspired by the Duncan-Irwin house in Pasadena, California. This house is a craftsman house designed by Greene & Greene. I was inspired by the clinker bricks and lanterns. This collection has four designs - Clinker Bricks, Lanterns, Wisteria, and the Dark & Starry Night scene. I hope that these are inspiring - and stimulate your creativity. They are available on both fabric and wallpaper - perfect for creative crafts and quilts - as well as DIY home decor.
Presenting the Quilting Fabric Collection:
Clinker Bricks design. Bricks are my measuring stick for my progress in learning this software - and these are my best bricks - evar! My skills with this software continue to improve. I have way exceeded my expectations when I began learning to use it. I assume I would have learned it faster if I had taken a class instead of teaching myself.
Hanging lanterns. These are perfect for fussy-cutting. I think they turned out cute. I did end up putting the shadows on myself, because I didn’t like the way the shadows were rendering in Photoshop. I didn’t want the shadows stretching off the lanterns because I wanted them to appear to be in front of the background- not engaged in it. I ended up being a little artistic about this - but that is always an option.
Simple wisteria floral design. Pretty purple, violet, lavender colors.
And the composite scene using all the designs - Dark & Starry Night.
I hope you enjoy these designs!
